Perched atop the street & located on a 2+ acre wooded corner lot on the throat of a private cul-de-sac in a great Millstone neighborhood, this newer 4BR 2.5BA 2-story Center Hall Colonial features large rooms; great Kitchen, Living & Dining Rooms; & a gorgeous built-in pool! Living Room is professionally decorated with elegant Hunter Douglas silhouette shades on 3 large windows. Dining Room also professionally decorated w/bay window & oak hardwood floor. Huge Kitchen features 42” Wellborn cabinets, center island, large eating area, windows & sliding doors to backyard pool, & a wall-mounted pool & spa controller. Master Suite w/walk-in closets, tray ceiling & huge his & her Bath. The attic above the garage is separate from the attic above the Master Bedroom for which there are pull-down stairs. Multi-level hardscape patio showcases 10-yr old Gunite Sport Pool w/sun thruout day, Jacuzzi hot-tub Spa with a waterfall into the pool , fiber optic lights, & new Polaris Pump! Nine-foot Ceilings throughout, 15-Zone sprinkler system, huge unfinish basement with a crawl space for add’l storage. 70 + feet driveway not including the portion in front of the garage that is wide enough to support 2+ cars. There are a number of driveways that only have the width for a single car until it opens up in front of garage. Seller wanted the convenience of parking a car on the driveway and being able to get a car out without having to move the other vehicle!
More Features: All the rain gutters are piped underground far from the home to eliminate water seepage into the home. Front gutters drain out to the backyard and the MBR side sloping away from home. The basement has a sump pit but does not have an active pump. The Sellers never experienced any water so they never needed to install an active system because the home sits high on the property to support its walk-out basement.
Switch in MBR turns on the Exterior Spot Light (lights up backyard / pool area) so you do not have to travel down to kitchen to turn it on if you hear a noise. (light switch in both kitchen and MBR)
Installed a conduit from basement to upstairs attic in case additional internal wiring is required (i.e., coax for DirectTV travels through this to supply service to the basement). There is also additional coax from Cablevision brought into the basement in case this service is required after finishing off the basement.
Energy Efficient Programmable Thermostats for both Zones. (Upstairs and Downstairs)
Home is equipped with all 3 Broadcast Digital Service Providers (Cablevision, DirectV and Verizon FIOS). Sellers only have DirectTV and Cablevison active at this time but all street fiber/Coax is run into the home.
And speaking about parking – there is a Law in Millstone, that you cannot park in the Cul-de-sac during school hours (sign posted on light pole). Being that our home leads to the Cul-de-Sac, parking is allowed in front of the home. However; it is not allowed in front of our neighbors (during the school year) because they are on the actual cul-de-sac. Weekends of course is fine but our neighbor across the street has a driveway (single width) and kids at driving age. At times they had to move their cars to get others out of their driveway.
While the Sanitation Company picks up both standard garbage and recycling (cardboard and bottles/plastics), the town has a recycling center next to the Municipal building for those families that want to easily get rid of their bulky recycling instead of having to break it down for the collection. The recycling center also includes electronics.
Some other artifacts:
Our Adjacent Neighbor as I mentioned was the builder of the development but more importantly is that their kids are all grown up and on their own. They have one daughter that moved back in for a while (so they are very quiet and friendly). While over the years, the neighborhood has been transitioning (original owners have all high school age children and the newer owners have younger children. All the families gather once every summer and have a neighborhood party in the opposite end Cul-de-Sac. Being there is only one entrance to the development, very child friendly.

Local Area Information:
For those not familiar with the area, they may be surprised at exactly how much the Millstone area has in store for them. Friendly neighborhoods, great schools, beautiful parks, awesome sport fields and a myriad of cultural activities are just a few of the highlights found here. Perrineville features recreational activities for all ages. Their Summer program is well managed and many children participate (vs. having to incur the expense of sending to a day camp) which by the way, there are two great day camps in town “FrogBridge and Black Bear Lake”. Both within a few miles of each other. The YMCA Camp is only about 5 – 7 miles near Freehold. Some homes in Millstone backup to the YMCA Camp and will use that camp for convenience.
Additional Youth Programs:
Girl Scouts / Brownies
Boy Scouts / Cub Scouts
Recreational Sports – Wrestling, Baseball, Football (PopWarner), CheerLeading, Lacrosse, Soccer to name a few. CheerLeading Squads have won the National Championships held in Disney World. Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts on both ends of Millstone, hiking trails, horse trails. The largest Monmouth Park (over 900 Acres) is within Millstone.
This particular home also backs to Equine Clinic fields & minutes from Perrineville Lake Pk & Assunpink Preserve. Lots of places to board horses, miles of riding trails, lakes to fish & land to enjoy wildlife. Millstone is famous for its equestrian businesses and boarding facilities and its commitment to providing designated riding trails throughout the Township. Millstone also borders the Assunpink Wildelife Perserve and the Horse Park of New Jersey. The Assunpink Wildlife Management area is a haven for native wildlife, as well as a stopover for migrating birds. Assunpink's almost 6,300 acres offer many attractions to area residents. Known for its network of artificial lakes resulting from the damming of Assunpink Creek, the Preserve provides excellent hunting and fishing opportunities. A system of paved and non-paved roads are open to vehicular traffic and more than 10 miles of horseback riding trails are one of the big reasons equestrians flock to this area and the equestrian-minded vie for homesteads here!
The 147 acre Horse Park of New Jersey in Stone Tavern, Monmouth County, is the result of a unique public, private partnership. The land was purchased by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection with Green Acres funds. The New Jersey Department of Agriculture continues to assist in the development of the Park into a world class equine exhibition facility. Since the Horse Park borders the 5000 acre Assunpink Wildlife Management Area.
